Happy Easter

Happy Easter to all Blippers.

Our flight left Lisbon for Manchester at 7.20 and we were back in the UK just after 10. A simple and good value trip. In fact, when we were planning it, the cost was about a third of the charter companies' trips to Faro, Tenerife, or the more usual Iberian destinations. We took the local train to Cascais (a superb seaside resort) but we gathered that links to other locations were equally easy.

It's TAP, the Portuguese national airline - absolutely charming, with good old-fashioned comfy seats and no hidden silly charges for bags and things. The breakfast is pretty naff - but you don't have to pay.

Back home, and just after lunchtime my first lot of washing is nearly done. I've poured several cups of lovely fresh coffee..... and had a quick walk round the garden just before the heavens opened.

This little tulip seemed a cheery celebration of this very holy day.
