Pet Lamb

A Geordie saying "pet lamb". After our strenuous day out at Haweswater and climbing/scrambling the Fells, we thought we would have a quiet walk and so made a visit to Wallington Hall. They have opened a new countryside walk, which was very nice - and probably a couple of miles in total. It was another lovely sunny day. On the way around, whilst crossing a field full of sheep, all these little baby lambs ran over to M. She must be really attractive to sheep ! They mobbed her and then followed us, probably hoping for attention and some food. It was a nice little bonus to our walk, where we also heard and then saw a Red Kite overhead.

We are getting to know a lot about Sheep lately !
