It's become a bit of an Easter tradition for me. Every year I go out and let my inner 'geekdom' roam free at the York Model Railway Exhibition. I have to say that I love it and find it all rather Zen like - watching perfectly crafted locomotives glide across model landscapes.

OK I appreciate that its all a bit 'odd' but I think that there is something rather endearing and British about all the wires, track configuration, signalling issues and a sense of pride in a job well done.

I'm actually particularly fond of the 'stuff at the back' - all the shunting, prodding and flasks of tea.

Ahhhh.
