To Remember an Old Friend

Poppy, otherwise known as No.1 Barge Dog, passed on three years ago.

She was a rescue dog, who belonged to my daughter but who then went on to adopt me. We were never quite certain of her age.

She always lead on to a number of jokes with strangers along the lines of "What is the name of your dog" the reply being "she is not my dog"

She was a good pal to me and is much missed.
