Merry Eastmas

Every other house here seems to have eggs hanging either in their gardens or in their houses (most are rather more vibrantly coloured than these) but this doorstep decoration just seems wrong to me, a Christmas fir tree bedecked for Easter, doesn't work.

I'm in Little miss bossy's bad books, not only did I forget I'd promised to provide the DVD Frozen as an Easter gift, but I also didn't organise an Easter egg hunt in the garden ('cos that totally works with a golden scavenger retriever living here) I'm clearly not going to win best mum of the year 2014, in fact she's threatening to renege on Mother's Day (May 11 here) anyone want to adopt a soon to be 13 year old girl?
