Camber Sands

Drove down to Rye this morning, to stay with our friends Richard and Cris. We met them in Appledore on the way and had a lovely lunch in a tearoom there, then carried on to their house. Dropped our stuff off, put our walking things on and set out on foot for Camber Sands - about 8 miles there and back. Lovely walk, and so nice to be able to get down to the sea on foot. I'd like to live within walking distance of the sea one day....

Back to our friends' house, and they cooked us a delicious dinner. Had a lovely evening of good food and wine, great music and much catching up.
