Faster than I thought...

bigger than I thought, more graceful than I thought, and way more exciting than I thought.

This weekend I saw my first live show-jumping event. I was ringside - as you can see from my blip. I only planned on staying an hour and ended up dragging myself away, late for a date with my daughter. It was fantastic. All of it! The horses were beautiful, proud and majestic. And the fussing around of the grooms, riders and spectators was really interesting too.

A keen, open mind is my greatest possession. Things never cease to amaze me.

What a lovely weekend I've had.
