Three legged egg and spoon race on Easter Sunday

There were eight of us for Easter Sunday lunch. It was a great lunch, although I say so myself as head chef. My surprise was to end the lunch with a three legged egg and spoon race, with chocolate eggs, in the front garden. We were even joined by a neighbour, who thought the event hilarious.

This shot, of Kirstine and Mhairi, sums up the event. You will note the cheating, by holding the egg in place rather than simply balancing. There was however no need for disqualification as they were last.

However, the fun on their faces sums up our Easter Sunday. Great family fun. Perhaps helped, just a little, by the wine.

After this shot, I retired for further wine and to scoff an entire Easter egg.
