Day on the beach

This Saturday it was a beautiful day for the beach and it happens that I have a beachrun planned for today. Lucky me. To remember an ultra runner from the early days, Jan Knippenberg every other year a race is held along the coast of Zuid- and Noord Holland (Netherlands). You can run the full lenght of 125 km or the half of it, 60km. I did the latter. It was a beautiful day for running, wind was in the beginning not too bad. Later it changed direction so it was head on and increased in strength. This made the last part quite tough, but I made it.
