Mist On The Lake

I really enjoyed travelling to work last Saturday and getting the blip of the boathouse so I went that way today wondering what conditions the colder air would bring.

Some parts of Ullswater had rafts of thin ice which were visible from high ground. At the lake side the water's only disturbance was the ripples made by fish. On looking down the lake there was a complete wall of mist, thinning out at this point.

It made a good start to a busy day.
