holidays II

Somehow, I managed to get to this far without ever understanding why easter is pâques/påsk/... is some countries and easter/ostern in others. Paschal is from ancient Greek for passover; easter is most likely from the name of the goddess Eastre who was associated with spring.

Anyway.

Off to Crail to see my parents today: egg hunt, lunch, chat, walk to the beach, play, home, cheesy Bond film, done.

Happy Easter all; I hope you've not slipped into a sugar induced coma.
