A Champagne moment

A family day today including plenty to eat though no chocolate eggs were purchased.

A champagne moment was provided by my cousin Stephen and his wife Liz and it made me wonder if I had ever had proper champagne before - it was lovely stuff.

Lots of sport on telly. Dad worn out trying to watch the tennis final from Monte Carlo and missing bits of football. Mum a bit out of sorts after church I think its too many memories of better times and weighed down by too many other people's troubles after hearing all their news.

My sister took my portrait which nearly made it on here but of course that would have been her blipfoto not mine so that does't work. Anyway I put the portrait on Facebook for a few friends to see (that's real friends who happen to be on Facebook, not Facebook friends) and they all said I didn't look bad for an ageing juvenile.

The evening was spent watching Endeavour on ITV or was that watching adverts - so many that it was ruined for me. Though even with out the ads there was a little too much mumbling and a story which seemed a little like a watered down version of something else (probably David Peace's Red Riding). I do still like the acting and characters though.
