High drama ...

... as the angel confronts the soldiers guarding the tomb on Easter morning. The soldiers' spears are candle-snuffers, and the angel appears to be wearing a surplice as the children act out this morning's gospel account of the resurrection.

The packed and riotous church was in complete contrast to the mystery of last night, as the sun shone outside and the bare cross from Good Friday was adorned with flowers representing the prayers of the congregation.

Truly, we have celebrated Easter. Alleluia!
