Inspiration is a good friend's garden

We were delighted to be invited to attend a potluck play date and egg hunt for Easter afternoon with our lovely friends L-A and E. They have the best backyard! It is full of delights for all ages. For the adults, a beautiful seating area with comfy chairs, tables and decorated up ready for Easter as well as just the right combination of shade and sunlight. Then the sweet aromas of amazing plants, beautiful flowers to look at, amazing nooks filled with plants and garden art. For the kids - a double swing set, two slides, a sandbox, a great concrete area for their trikes and bikes, an array of tables and chairs to choose from to rest and endless new wonders to find as they explore - mostly in the shade so they are protected from the 90 plus degree heat of Easter in SoCal. Thanks for a great day, a wonderful way to celebrate Easter and great company. Oh and thanks for the yummy food everyone - and the great array of eggs which will be opened and enjoyed tomorrow!
