Wild sunflowers

They are actually called balsam root and our local hillsides are covered with them at this time of year. Angus and I are back hiking around Skaha Bluffs again and it was beautiful up there today. I've never seen so many climbers but with over 600 routes, there's something for everyone. Squamish has been too wet and rainy and Alberta areas still have too much snow so everyone came here for Easter and it was a beautiful weekend. Climbers are a great bunch.. all so fit, agile and strong and so friendly and relaxed. Saw some amazing skill today.
