Dandelion

Taraxacum officinale agg. Each 'clock' can have around 200 seeds, each of which can drift for miles on the breeze.

The dandelion flower has been compared to the sun with seed heads like this representing the moon and the seeds, as they float away, the stars.

Another fab day on Anglesey - off out to continue my battle with weeds in the garden. They don't become wildflowers until they are growing in the lane!
