Shari, my first cousin once-removed

Today I met Shari for the first time, she is the daughter of my first cousin Hilde and
Marcel (I had to look-up our relationship!). I've never met Hilde and her brothers Paul and Peter as they didn't live in Guyana, but grew up on Bonaire, a Dutch West Indies island. Shari is now working in London and is a delightful young lady. It is so true about 'blood' - we were able to chat easily, in spite of me being her mother's age, and we found we had much in common, not least the kind of lunch we liked! It was a great day.
