Close your eyes and try to remember how they smell

Lilies of the Valley. Two weeks early I would say.
We had a lovely dinner with two good friends yesterday and they gave me this little bouquet . Their lilies were flowering abundantly in their garden.

Next to lilac my absolute spring favorites. Although I discovered and posted several signs of spring while in Reno, here in Oregon it is abundance. The lovely light green leaves shine through everywhere and so much is blooming already and at the same time. I even have one of my rosebushes blooming. I counted about 12 open flowers yesterday...They are beautiful but that will be a blip for another day :-)
