Lose some; gain some

One of the cats kindly presented us with not one but two live mice last night. Before we could catch the second one it disappeared in the utility room...so Martin shut all the doors and came to bed!

Shhh (don't tell the kids & the guests).

I got up early this morning hoping to find half a mouse, but no such luck...instead I found definite evidence of mice living it up!

So today I have been blitzing the utility room, washing everything and scrubbing. I have arranged a disciplinary meeting with our two cats and a dog to give them a serious talking to.....

Kids have been in and out, playing with friends, at one point we were down two children ans then we gained another three. It's all been fairly laid back today, as it's back to school tomorrow so getting up early and then straight into exam season.....
