Grandma and Mar

So i didnt get to blip yesterday because Mar has come down with a tummy bug, lots of trips to the toilet meant i didn't get a chance to do much, he was miserable.

Today wasn't much better for him, still sore tum. We went out early just to get a few things like i thought maybe i should get a new mop head and some disposable gloves, they're always handy, and oh i need disinfectant (along with other stuff and a few groceries oh and coffee for andre and i). Who knew i would actually come home and need all this stuff?

We got home and trying to encourage mar to have a bit of that gastrolyte stuff he got really upset and vomited everywhere. So out came the new mop head and gloves and disinfectant.

I made him have a hot shower and put him in his bed for the afternoon, the rest of my day i spent cleaning, luckily we have a carpet cleaner so i was able to go over the places where there was stuff. But i was so tired by the end of it.

We then had a family dinner, Andres grandma has come up from Dunedin to visit so we always try to have her over for dinner while shes here, we had lamb tagine with rice followed by my mother in laws AMAZING lemon slice that she had craftily put in a round tin to make it look like a citrus tart (i had called her earlier saying i couldn't find a citrus tart at divine cakes and i thought it would go nice with dinner she comes over and shes whipped one up!!)

Marley was feeling a lot better by dinner, i had made up some gastrolyte and put it in his water bottle then watered that down, he didn't seem to notice so i think that helped him. I asked him to sit on the couch with Grandma Bet and show her his reading skills, i think he read one or two books before she was then reading them to him!!
