Had a lazy morning and headed out to a dinner for breakfast. Breakfast being in America meant there was also no need for lunch…..

Drove off in the afternoon to find the airboat ride we'd book. The boys being big Steve Backshall fans were adamant they were going out to hunt for alligators. Wildlife being wildlife they can be a bit harder to find out in the wild. It's all much easier in Seaworld, but at the end of the day an alligator in the wild is worth ten in the pen and luckily we had a man that knew where to find them. Kids were happy campers and I got loads of shots, especially as big alligators don't move too much.

Also on the agenda today were wee alligators, herons of various sort, spoonbills, gar, tilapia, an osprey making a catch and loads of cranes and ibis.

We never did find the extremely venomous water mocassin, much to Callum's disappointment.
