The Fortingall Yew

Today, while exploring the back roads of Perthshire north of Loch Tay, we found the Fortingall Yew. Said to be over 2000 years old and to have provided shade to Pontius Pilate as a child while he played (before his overseas postings to Rome, Palestine etc).

Cared for immaculately, and in a beautiful spot.
