A day of two halves: warm sunshine this morning and cool rain this afternoon.

It was the sunny half which provided an opportunity to survey the local insect life. Seeing as the white butterflies are still too elusive to photograph, and I've already treated you to enough Small Tortoiseshells and Peacocks to last you for a while, my first hoverfly blip of the year will have to suffice.
