Philippe has returned from yet another hiatus because he heard the call. Like many continental European sportsmen that preceded him, Philippe has a poet's soul.

He sees it in the beautiful precision engineering of a well turned cog; the simple elegance of a well designed cycling jersey or a artisan crafted doughnut.
