Maeve the Deerhound and I went with Apothecary7 to Motherwell to visit her mum. My first chance to drive Apothecary7's new car. Nice.

On the way hone we stopped off to look at the remaining water tower in the Dalzell steel works and get a blip. It is so tall that it can be seen from various points around the town. I'm glad that Tata Steel have decided to retain the Dalzell works name and leave it on the tower.

We also stopped at Blackford to try the cafe at the new small retail park which is rather dominated by the Baxter's shop in the middle and to let Maeve stretch her legs.
