A storm is brewing...

Thunderstorm building up over a tulip field in Zijldijk, Groningen, The Netherlands.

Out tonight for a must-have tulip field shoot, together with Ton, Herman, Mariska Vegter and Ton's friend Richard. We had a great time with some really great skies. Behind us, we started hearing the rumbling noises of a thunderstorm building up. We decided to quickly march to the other side of the field to capture the approaching thunderstorm before it would actually hit us.

To summarize: success on the first part, but complete failure on the second part. We were all completely soaked before we reached the safety of our cars. I have some great captures of the setting sun over this tulip field, but I decided to go for this dramatic sky for my blip today. I hope you'll enjoy it...
