ARRIVAL

After journeying night and day,
I had finally arrived in the Umbrian hill town of Trevi.
The plain stretched out below us
and our mountain retreat was visible
through the low cloud swirling above us.
The game was afoot, the quest had begun.
I had returned to the place of my first blip,
accompanied by my family.
The planning and preparation had gone well
We were 25 days ahead of schedule
the anniversary had not yet arrived.
Now to capture the high ground
