A day in three parts.

Left behind beautiful, warm, sunny Costa Rica. I was a little sad to go. Our connecting flight was canceled, as were all flights to our airport, due to snow. We rented a car and drove 8.5 hours. The sky was lovely. The drive wasn't so bad until we got close to home where we were met with nearly two feet of snow. Highly unusual for us. After 18 hours of traveling and a shoeless run down the driveway to the house (COLD!), I couldn't wait to jump on my snowboard to test the big hill in the backyard. It didn't really work, but was fun. Tomorrow - actually, I guess later today...I will try packing down some tracks to see if it works better.

What a day!
