A Grand Day out

Started in Bearsden - ended up in Troon via Strathaven. A grand day out indeed.

Enjoyed having a a wander round the John Hastie park in Strathaven (pronounced Straven). It was full of surprises for such a small park. First a putting green, then a bowling green (which caused some excitement for some of the group), then a boating pond, then a miniature railway train, then a grassy 'parkie' bit, then our favourite part ..... the outdoor gym! Hope we're not all too stiff tomorrow after the circuits we put in. A'desk was giving it big licks.

Other circuits today were of the food variety - breakfast, lunch and afternoon coffee.

MP is now sound asleep - think it was her exploits at the beach that have finished her off for the night! She could jump waves and chase her ball all day long........
