I wish there was more colour in this blip but it was lousy weather and quite far away. This heron used to perch on the top of a tree which has been massively pruned so I guess he needs a new vantage point.

I spent about 1/2 hr gardening today. The only good thing to be said for yesterdays horrid rain is that it made the ground nice and soft for weeding. Just as I was getting to grips with tying in my Sweet Peas the heavens opened again so I gave up!
