Easter Bunny Hunt

Every Easter our village holds a bunny hunt with proceeds going to the village pre-school. Even though our boys are older, they still enjoy taking part.

Every child is given a bunny 'tail' (made out of cotton wool!) with a unique number on it. They then have to walk around a number of fields trying to find their matching bunny (bunny shaped paper with the same number on). At the end of the hunt they receive an Easter egg. Back down at the farmhouse there is food, face painting, lucky dip etc, and beer brewed by one of our local micro breweries. The weather was glorious today so we decided to walk there and back.

The collage shows the village mayor and the Easter bunny (who's about to lose her head), the boys on the way back home, and a lamb we spotted on the way back who had been sprayed with the letters 'HOG'. No idea why, they're not the farmers initials so can't think what they mean?!
