A day on the creeks

What a fabulous day, we drove out to sebastien on the coast, and met up with Mike, out guide from the Yosemite trip in February and the Western Parks trip last September. He'd brought a trailer full of Kayaks for us all to go out on the rivers. When I say rivers, some were hardly wider than the kayak, and we had to duck under vegetation. We kayaked for over three hours, and saw Alligator, at pretty close quarters, but the highlight of the day was the herd of Manatee, that we got fairly close to - they were hauling themselves out of the water to eat some of the river grasses. They even swam around and under our kayaks!

Brilliant day!
