This Amazing Day

i thank You God for most this amazing
day:for the leaping greenly spirits of trees
and a blue true dream of sky;and for everything
which is natural which is infinite which is yes

Easter Monday today and it's back to the normal routine of chores and work, but I wanted to make the effort to take time to appreciate "this amazing day" so I went for a walk in the neighborhood with Dan.

Everywhere looks very green because it seems we have been having an extraordinary amount of rain this spring. So I join in the thanks to God for "the leaping greenly spirits of trees and a blue true dream of sky" and wonder with the author "how should...any...human...being...doubt...You?"

My prayer is that each one of us have the "ears of our ears" awakened and the "eyes of our eyes" opened to see not just the beauty of the physical world around us, but to also become aware of the spiritual world we are immersed in.
