Snowy Mountains
Mount Kosciuszko, NSW. With a a height of 2,228 meters (7,310ft) above sea level, it's the highest mountain in Australia. It was named after a Polish explorer Paul Edmund Strzelecki in 1840, who named it in honor of a Polish national hero Tadeusz Kosciuszko, how bloody complicated.
Today we got the chair lift to The Eagles Nest Restaurant & then walked to the lookout, 2 kms there & 2 kms back. Photo taken at the lookout, Mum, Floss & the 2 big lads, littlest lad bored of waiting for wrinklies left on his own.
