Malta Day 10: If it flies it dies

A relaxing afternoon turned sour when we had to go and collect a gull that we thought had been injured because it was caught in fishing line. However, that was a secondary issue. The main injury was shot gun pellets, damaging the wing. Unable to fly it appears to have tried to scavenge in a pool and picked up the line.
