Pierhead, Gourock

Backblip

Before driving to Kirkcaldy to stay with my brother, we had a lovely walk round the park and along the pier. We arrived at David's mid afternoon in time for the children finishing school. We all then headed to the local community garden where there is a gardening club for the children and us adults dug three large holes to plant some apple trees. This was easier said than done as we quickly came across a layer of hard core and it took us the full hour to dig 2.5 holes! After gardening club, some dinner and then my niece had her badminton club which I took her along to. For age 8 she is a pretty nifty wee badminton player and despite being the youngest there by a long way, she was giving some of the older boys a good game!! A great day!
