Calm or Paddling Fast

Who couldn't help but feel calm on looking at this beautiful scene, except that today it feels like we're like the little ducklings that I'd just missed, calm on the top and paddling fast to ensure we get everything done.

We've been overwhelmed by the support received from partners and colleagues in response to our Adult Learners' Week events programme, it has been a real eye opener. We also did an online survey with members of the general public and it seems that of the 5234 responses we got, 5198 felt that adult learning should be a top priority in a modern Scotland. So all in all we've had not a bad April this far.

I'm looking out to the sea to get some calm before next week kicks off a month of magnificent events, will be quieter in my responses but will try to keep up too.
