Bedraggled Goldfinch

On a day when it is pissing down with rain the best blip option seemed to be to take shots of the garden birds who despite the rain were not deterred from amassing around the bird feeder. Fortunately for me I can do this from the sanctuary of my indoor hide i.e. the living room, though the birds do look a bit bedraggled. The leaves are only just beginning to come out on the trees nearest the bird feeder so there is a reasonably clear view of them in a slightly more natural habitat
