Ceanothus

The huge ceanothus at the end of the garden is now in full bloom,like a massive violet blue cloud. It fascinates me close up, with the flowers made up of tiny tiny flowers. It's a magnet for bees too, a great sight considering the troubles of the bee at the moment.

Took a day off work today, extra long weekend!
