Stewart and Beinn Sgritheall
Stewarts second ascent of my favourite Munro. He did his first at the age of 8 in slightly warmer and sunnier conditions- not that he remembers much of it he tells me. On this occasion it was windy at the top and the walking poles were put to good use on the summit ridge. The waterproof was worn for show and warmth as it didn't rain after we left the forrest. We had to circuit the Loch on the longer north side as it was impossible to cross the stream in spate at it's north end but this did allow us to collect some antlers for walking stick handles and bog wood for goblets. Photos of these will follow in a few years time.
