Star Wars Episodes III and IV

Movie night after work at Ali's house!
Busy bank holiday Monday today and we beat our target for LY and FC, hooray.
The team were in good form all day and I left almost on time at around 4pm.

Ali met me from work and we went to collect dessert from Cheesecake as today it was two slices for €5! I tried Baileys and Flake and Ali had chocolate fudge brownie.

We went over to Ali's and she prepared lots of nibbles for us both as you can see, we demolished the popcorn in record time and started on the Doritos and dip shortly after. The Cadbury buttons lasted us most of the night, and once the nibbles were almost gone we put garlic bread and mozzarella toastie slices and chicken pizza in the oven to enjoy with the movies.

We watched A New Hope (episode III) and then The Empire Strikes Back (episode IV), both were really enjoyable. C3P0 is hilarious and we decided that he reminds us of Guy at work. We also spotted Simon in a Space Nazi scene! We practised our Wookie noises like Chewy and yelled at the screen when Luke and Leia kissed - gross, it's your SISTER!!

We believe we also coined the response to 'may the Force be with you' as being 'and also with you' despite the fact this kinda reminds us of being in church! However The Force is almost described as a type of faith or religion so perhaps it is really quite apt.

We had some good catch up chats before I headed home and I look forward to scheduling the next instalments soon.

Today I am grateful for Ali's hospitality and friendship.
