I love my job.

The weather's still nice and there is a veritable abundance of daylight at present. The old bus ('Rodger's') is being a bit of a lemon, but we are bouyed by the prospect of a new replacement arriving soon.

My shoppers are an absolute hoot to take around the island and share lunch with. In addition, there are two Orkney Ferries sailings arriving on the island to be met. On the way, vistas such as this view across Lamba Ness and Eday Sound sidle past the windows the full time.

It's all just too gorgeous.
