Flower Power!!! (backblip)

The sunny weather this morning gave way to grey skies & showers this afternoon ....... just at the moment we left the house! Bad timing!!!

Still ...... we decided to brave the showers & rather 'bracing' wind & went to Gibraltar Point nature reserve. As this is on the coast it was extremely bracing!!!

We saw a lot of the damage caused by the tidal surge last December .... though the effects are beginning to fade. The Visitor Centre is still closed & will have to be re-built as the damage was too great.

Nevertheless we had a lovely afternoon ...... saw lots of birds ...... a very distinctive Snail & lots of wildflowers. It was lovely to see all the new life springing up around :-)

So today's blip is a collection of some of the flowers we saw .... hope you like it :-)
