Alpine Clematis

Arrived home just before midnight to be greeted by two perky but soggy cats in the night rain.
I am feeling a bit rubbish today but not as bad as yesterday. I think I am past the worst of this bug but still a bit enfeebled.
Amazed how much the plants in the garden have grown in the four days we have been away. This clematis alpina grows on the north wall of the house near our front door. I love its colour.
