Mirrored Planes

Evening canal, a burnished metallic pool reflecting the beautiful reds and greys of the plane trees. This is the highest point of the Midi canal, near Castelnaudary, where the water flows east to the Mediterranean, and west to the Atlantic, fed by water from the nearby Pyrenees.
