White Feathers!

I wasn't really expecting to have a blip drop in my lap today, but as I looked out in the garden, I saw something quite unexpected and remarkable. Like you do, I grabbed my camera and got a poor shot through the rain-spattered window. I then opened the door carefully and get a somewhat better shot of this leucistic House Sparrow. I wonder if he'll come back.
On the subject of returners, the late afternoon brought a very welcome influx of swallows swooping across the garden. Not such a bad day after all.
