belated Easter Bunny

Didn't get out the house today, too busy writing, so my blip captures an enlarged photocopy of newspaper photo I have on one of my oldNZ journalism scrapbooks. I can claim no credit for the original pic, which was taken by a staff snapper at the Taranaki Daily News .

The original was taken in August 1987. I didn't attend the event, was merely given the job of writing a caption for the pic. Here's what I came up with at the time:

"Baby bunny Elizabeth Wratislav (4.5 months) seems completely underwhelmed by a fancy dress day at New Plymouth's St Joseph's School yesterday. Her mother Clare, however, sees a bit more humour in the occasion."

Wherever Elizabeth Wratislav is now, she will have celebrated her 27th birthday recently. I hope she's having a nice life and has cheered up since that party!
