Ayr Beach

Today we took a day trip to Ayr. When mum and dad told me where we were going and that I could play on a beach and have Ice cream, I grabbed mums hand (half dressed with no shoes on) and led her to the front door saying c'mon! Gran and papa were going too but we were meeting them there. It was a long drive to Ayr and I 'helpfully' waited until we were driving into the car park to fall asleep! Once we got there we had a yummy lunch then went to the shops. Once we had got a couple of things we needed we got to go to the beach! To get there we crossed a big open grassy field and I stopped to pick up flowers and kick my ball. It was quite windy though so the ball kept moving away. After the field there was a swing park so we stopped there for a bit too :) once we hit the beach there was no stopping me. I made sandcastles, dug holes and went right into the water! It was very cold but I loved it. Mum and dad were very surprised by how much I loved it. After we got cleaned up from the beach we got my much promised ice cream cone and it was amazing. Then we went a walk before dinner. I was so hyper I didn't even sleep the whole way home and it took me another hour after we got home to fall asleep! It was such a fantastic day.
