little whitewashed climber...

.....fights back.

The elderly couple who live in this cottage have the stone walls completely whitewashed every year....and this gorgeous defiant climber that spreads across the front just buds up every year and respreads itself.....I think it looks particularly gorgeous at this brand new growth stage just as the delicate but bright colour starts to show against the white. Looks like it would make a nice duvet print pattern...tho I also think the new leaves look like shrimps and I wouldn't want them on my bed!
