Godparents

This morning we said our goodbyes to the family, B and her Mum and Dad were heading home, and uncle Pink was heading to work, it always feels sad to say goodbye to everyone.
After saying goodbye we headed to the local scout hall for a surprise party for Miss Pink's Godfather's 40th birthday. It was a cricket themed party and the hall looked fab all decked out in cricket gear and a wicket and so on. The mini pinks were pleased as there were other children to play with, and cake! Both of them had a godparent there too so it was fab to see them interacting with them. The picture is Master Pink with his Godmum, Rev.Gill.
Simon (Miss Pink's Godfather) made his Goddaughter's day, by giving her his birthday present. It was a pink fairy that actually flys! She has wanted one for ages, but meany mummy and daddy had bought her something else for her birthday; so she was thrilled! We had a few demonstrations, but then the fairy was "resting" and very closely guarded by Miss Pink!
It was a good fun afternoon, sadly tomorrow everything is back to reality....school, work, cleaning. Boooo!
